About the course

For qualified lash artists who are confident in classic and ready to add Russian Volume to their menu, taught one-to-one at the academy in Portglenone, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

You already know the classic theory, so it isn't taught again. Your printed manual, with QR-linked videos, is posted to you, and you complete a volume theory quiz that Emma marks personally. Your two training days then go on the skill that makes or breaks a volume artist: making fans.

Day one is all about fans. After your quiz review and a look at volume tweezers and adhesive, you drill fan-making until your fans are even, narrow-based and repeatable, then practise placing them together on a practice tray. On day two you complete a full volume set on a live model together, then cover your pricing, costings, 30-day business plan and how to photograph your work.

After the course, you complete five case studies within four weeks and send each one to Emma on WhatsApp, with photos, videos of your fan-making and notes, so you get feedback on each. A 30-minute video call checks your theory, and your ABT-accredited certificate is issued once Emma has seen safe, consistent volume work.

Dates are arranged when you enquire. A £175 booking fee secures your place, and the £524 balance is due on your first training day.

About Emma

Questions

Do I need to be qualified in classic lashes?

Yes. You need a classic eyelash extensions qualification and should be confident in classic application. This course builds on that, it doesn't repeat it.

Why don't you teach the classic theory again?

Because you already know it. Your manual and quiz cover the volume-specific theory, so your training days go on fan-making and live model work, which is where volume artists are really made.

Is there an assessment day?

No. Emma assesses you through your five case studies, including videos of your fan-making, so she can see your technique as well as your finished sets. You'll get feedback on every one, then a short video call before your certificate is issued.

How many students are on each course?

Just you. Every course is one-to-one.

Can you train more than one student at a time?

Standard courses are one-to-one, but Emma can travel to salons and colleges to train groups. Group pricing depends on the number of students and what you need.
